Tuesday, April 16, 2024 - Weather Discussion

Not enough seismographs were present in the Northeast to properly assess the earthquake because Trump cut funding to the USGS when he was President....

As you can imagine, living 2 miles from the epicenter of the 4.8 magnitude earthquake, I have been doing significant research on this whole situation. One amazing thing I found out is that the USGS has stated that they did not have enough seismographs present in the Northeast to properly assess the earthquake due to significant funding cuts by prior President Donald Trump. In all honesty, I used to be a Republican years ago until I started to realize that all they did is destroy everything I cared about.  They cut funding to the weather service dramatically, they always cut funding to education, in fact they hate education because educated people are a clear and present danger to them (remember Trump's statement that he loves the uneducated), and now I find out that they cut funding to the USGS prior to the biggest earthquake in NJ since 1783.  The Republicans will however tell you that you won't be able to have an abortion in cases of rape or incest.  They are also great at giving tax cuts to the rich, bailing out banks, and creating wars where they kill millions of innocent people. Now they want to elect a Dictator who already tried to violently overthrow a free and fair election to maintain power. Sickos.

As for the weather, it will get cooler tomorrow and into next week with more chances for rain.

Have a fantastic day!
