Increasing warmth with severe thunderstorms possible Friday afternoon and evening, then a heat wave next week…


It will get increasingly warm the next few days, culminating in a chance for severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening as a cold front passes through our area.. Highs will rise from the mid 70’s to low 80’s today, to the 80’s tomorrow, and the 80’s to low 90’s Friday.

Saturday and Sunday will then be nice and cooler behind the cold front with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the afternoon as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 80’s.


Tuesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 80’s to mid 90’s.


Next Wednesday, June 19th through next Saturday, June 22nd, there will be a  heat wave in much of our area with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the upper 80’s and 90’s next Wednesday, the 90’s next Thursday, the mid 80’s to mid 90’s next Friday, and the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Saturday. 


Next Sunday, June 23rd and next Monday, June 24th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 80’s to low 90’s.


Next Tuesday, June 25th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.
