Showers and thunderstorms developing tonight and possibly continuing into Saturday morning…


A cold front is approaching from the west at the same time that the remnants of a hurricane area approaching from the Southeastern United States. These two disturbances will slowly pass through our area tonight, possibly into Saturday morning. 


There is the potential for 4-5 inches of rain throughout our area tonight through Saturday morning, with localized amounts up to 10 inches possible, with some flooding likely, possibly severe in some locations.  If you live in a flood prone area you need to keep a close eye on this situation.
