Wow oh wow, looking pretty darn dry. I have never seen anything like it…
The forecast is looking just really dry over the next two weeks and this comes after a month of October that had zero measurable rainfall at many locations throughout our area, which I have never seen before. Right now the only chance for any rain over the next two weeks appears to be just a chance for a shower or sprinkle Friday morning as a cold front passes through our area. The models have often been showing chances for rain in the future and then as the systems close closer the rain disappears, as we apparently have a rain shield over our area currently. Precipitation often occurs as a result of evaporation and there is simply very little moisture to evaporate now in our area.
As for temperatures, highs will reach the upper 60’s to mid 70’s today and the 70’s tomorrow, which is also the warmest Halloween I have ever seen, and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s Friday. It will then cool down behind the cold front with highs only in the 50’s Saturday, gradually rising to the mid to upper 50’s Saturday, the mid 50’s to mid 60’s Monday, and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Tuesday, then gradually cooling to the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Wednesday, the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Thursday, the 50’s to low 60’s next Friday, and the 50’s next Saturday, then rising a touch to the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.
