Friday, December 6, 2024 - Weather Discussion

 

Chance of a flurry today and a snow shower or flurry tomorrow night, especially in Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT, then warmer with some rain next week, possibly changing to snow before ending late Wednesday…


It will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry today. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.


Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of snow shower or flurry at night, especially in Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT, as a weak disturbance passes to our north. Highs will be in the 30’s.


Sunday will then be nice and warmer with highs in the 40’s.


Monday, clouds will increase with rain developing at night as a disturbance approaches our area along a cold front that will stall just to our west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s and 40’s.


Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with rain developing at night. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Wednesday, rain will be likely, possibly changing to snow late in the day before ending, as a disturbance passes through our area. Some snowfall accumulation will be possible in Northeastern PA. Highs will range from the low 40’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 50’s along the NJ Coast and on Eastern Long Island

 

Thursday through next Thursday, December 19th is currently looking nice with highs in the 30’s Thursday and next Friday, rising to the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday, the 40’s next Sunday and Monday, and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Tuesday, then dropping back a touch to the 40’s next Wednesday and Thursday.
