Accumulating snow possible in parts of our area Sunday night
into Monday morning…
Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 30’s.
Tomorrow, clouds will increase with rain and snow developing
at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 30’s
to low 40’s.
Monday the rain and snow will end in the morning, then rain
will develop again at night as one disturbance departs our area and another
approaches. Highs will range from the upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low
50’s along the NJ Coast.
Total possible snowfall accumulation in the morning:
A coating to an inch possible: Putnam
County, NY and far Northern Fairfield County, CT
A coating to 3 inches possible: East
Central PA, Northwestern NJ (highest amounts in far Northwest NJ, and in Orange
County, NY
2-5 inches possible: Northeastern
PA

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s
to mid 50’s.
Wednesday, clouds will increase with rain developing in the
afternoon and evening as another disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be
in the 40’s.
Thursday and Friday there will be a chance of rain, and
possibly some snow as yet one more disturbance passes through our area. with
highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Saturday through Christmas Day currently look nice with
highs in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Saturday, only the upper teens to mid 20’s
next Sunday, rising to the mid 20’s to low 30’s next Monday, the mid to upper
30’s Christmas Eve, and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Christmas Day through next
Friday.
