A bit of snow this afternoon and evening, and a bit more likely Sunday, and then next week will be extremely COLD, but the big question is whether we will get a big snowstorm?
There will be some snow showers this afternoon and evening that could leave a trace to a coating of accumulation in many places, with up to an inch possible in Northeastern PA.
Tomorrow will be nice, and then clouds will increase with a chance of a rain or snow shower in the afternoon, with a trace to a coating of accumulation possible in some locations.
Sunday, there will be a better chance for some snowfall accumulation as a disturbance will pass east of our area. Right now it appears that a coating to an inch or two of accumulation will be possible.
Then it will get extremely COLD next week with the coldest day being Tuesday with highs only in the mid single digits to mid teens.
Temperatures will rise a bit towards the weekend.
The big question remains whether any storms will threaten our area next week. It feels unlikely that we will miss every single chance next week, but right now it is hard to place which potential disturbance will be the threat that reaches our area next week. Right now it appears that the threat will likely be between Wednesday and Friday, but we will just have to wait and see.
