Gradual warming the next week with some rain possible Thursday and then rain or snow possible next Sunday with the potential for a significant Nor’easter next weekend…
Frist of all, Rt. 287 was horrible on the way home last evening. There was no pre-treatment of the roads whatsoever, but over the past couple of years they have done nothing with our roads at all. Unfortunately, our governor is MIA and there is zero accountability in his administration, unlike anything I have ever seen before. You try to reach out to them, and they don’t even feel it is necessary to respond. Anyway, there was a 10-vehicle pileup on Rt. 287 yesterday because people were driving like idiots, 80 mph on a snow-covered highway. The road was an absolute sheet of ice and no salters were anywhere to be seen.
As far as the future goes, temperatures will warm to the low to mid 50’s in parts of our area Monday through Thursday, with a chance for rain Thursday.
It will then cool back to normal temperature with a chance for a Nor’easter to form next Sunday, potentially bringing rain or snow to our area.
