A very active weather pattern over the next two weeks, with
significant snow and ice for a large part of our area tomorrow night, and significant
snow likely again Tuesday night…
We are in an active weather pattern with more snow developing
tomorrow afternoon and evening from southwest to northeast, gradually changing
to freezing rain and sleet inland, and likely to rain in East Central NJ and on
Long Island. Significant snow accumulations are likely north of about Rt. 78
and especially north of about Rt. 80, with significant ice accumulations likely
inland south of Rt. 78.

night, courtesy WeatherBell Analytics. Click on the image to enlarge.
Sunday and Monday will then be nice, followed by snow
developing in the afternoon and evening from west to east Tuesday. This
disturbance has the potential to bring a significant snowfall to inland areas Tuesday
night.
More snow will develop Wednesday night, likely changing to sleet
and freezing rain and then possibly to rain late Wednesday night, with rain or
snow ending Thursday morning.
There will then be a chance for snow changing to rain next Saturday,
ending next Sunday afternoon.
Next Thursday, February 20th, there will be another
chance for snow.
