Severe storms possible this afternoon and evening…
Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.

Tomorrow through Saturday will be nice with highs in the 80’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a weak cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s.
Monday will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
Next Wednesday, August 20th through next Sunday, August 24th will be nice with highs gradually rising from the 70’s next Wednesday, to the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Thursday, the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Friday, the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Saturday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Sunday.
Next Monday, August 25th there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
It had once appeared that we might need to watch for a potential hurricane, but it now appears this storm will pass safely to our east off the coast.
