HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Nice through Saturday, then some rain and snow Sunday and a chance of snow Tuesday…


It will be nice through Saturday, with increasing cloudiness late in the day Saturday as a disturbance and cold front approach from the west. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s today and the mid 30’s to low 40’s tomorrow and Saturday.


Sunday, rain and snow will develop in the morning, changing to rain, except possibly in Northeast PA, ending at night. Highs from the upper 30’s in Northeast PA to the low 50’s in east Central NJ and on Long Island.

Total possible snowfall accumulation:

Trace to a coating possible:  Central and Northeastern NJ, far Southeastern NY State, Fairfield County, CT,

Coating to an inch possible: East Central PA

Coating to an inch and a half possible:  Northeastern PA


Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.


Tuesday there will be a chance of snow as a disturbance passes south and east of our area. We will have to keep a close eye on this disturbance as there is the potential for significant snowfall accumulation depending on the track of the storm. 


Wednesday there will be a chance of a snow shower or furry in the morning as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.


Next Thursday, December 4th will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.


Next Friday , December 5th, there will be a chance of rain or snow developing at night as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Saturday, December 6th there will be a chance of rain ro snow ending late in the day as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.


Next Sunday, December 7th there will be a chance of a snow shower in the morning as some moisture may trail behind the disturbance. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.


Next Monday, December 8th through next Wednesday, December 10th is currently looking nice with highs gradually dropping from the mdi 30’s to mid 40’s next Monday, to the 30’s to low 40’s next Tuesday, and the 30’s next Wednesday.
