Significant snow, ice, and COLD on the way…
It will get very cold tomorrow and then two disturbances will approach our area, bringing significant snow and ice starting late Saturday night, ending before midnight Sunday night in most locations. The snow will mix with freezing rain and sleet in the late afternoon and evening in East Central and Southeastern PA, Southern Central, and parts of Northeastern NJ, NYC, and on Long Island, and likely to rain along the NJ Coast before ending.
Total possible snow/ice accumulation:
6-9 inches: Southeastern NJ
8-12 inches: Southeastern PA, Central NJ, NYC, Long Island
10-15 inches: East Central PA, Northern NJ, (excluding far Northwestern NJ,) far Southeastern NY State
12-18 inches: Northeastern PA, far Northwestern NJ, the rest of Southeastern NY State, Fairfield County, CT

It will then be extremely cold after this storm and through the next two weeks with a chance for snow showers Thursday, next Sunday into Monday morning, and the following Thursday.
