Moving forward, it will be COLD through the next two weeks with a chance for a very significant snowstorm next weekend. This storm has the potential to become quite intense as two disturbances will merge again near the Middle Atlantic Coast. One dropping down from Canada and one moving east from along the Gulf Coast.
We will have to closely watch the track of this system as it is likely to become very intense (much more intense than the storm yesterday). Please keep in mind that the potential storm is still almost a week away and things could change, but the way it looks right now, if it does impact any land areas in the Middle Atlantic States or Northeastern United States, it could very well bring very heavy snowfall and very strong winds (producing blizzard conditions), unlike this prior storm.
Keep in mind that this is still a long way out and is not yet a certainty at all. It could still miss land areas and be a storm for the fishes, but it is definitely something to keep a close eye on.
