Continuing to watch late tomorrow into early Monday…
We have to continue to watch two disturbances approaching from the west, one in the Southern Jet Stream, and one in the Northern Jet Stream. These two disturbances may or may not merge, and the amount of merger, if any, will determine our weather as the weekend ends. Any merger at all would bring at least some snow to our area, while any fail to merge would keep us dry. A full merger would bring a significant or even very significant snowfall to our area.
At the moment, a slight merger is looking most likely, which would bring a light snowfall to our area tomorrow night into early Monday morning.
After this disturbance passes the next thing to watch will be a couple of weak disturbance es that will pass through our area Wednesday and Friday, likely causing rain develop Wednesday, possibly changing to a bit of snow Wednesday night, and rain or snow Friday.
