Wednesday, August 19, 2026 - Weather Discussion

 

Showers/thunderstorms returning tomorrow…


Showers and thunderstorms will develop again tomorrow afternoon and evening from west to east as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s, with some low 80’s on Long Island.  Some of the thunderstorms could be severe, especially in Southeastern PA and Southern NJ.


Friday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Saturday and Sunday there will be showers and possibly a thunderstorm as a disturbance slowly passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s Saturday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s Sunday.


Monday and Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s Monday and the mid to upper 70’s Tuesday. 


Next Wednesday, August 26th there will be a chance of showers/thunderstorms developing at night as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Next Thursday, August 27th and next Friday, August 28th will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Next Saturday, August 29th through next Tuesday, September 1st is currently nice with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
