Friday, October 9, 2026 - Weather Discussion

 

Rainy and windy Sunday, with some flooding likely…


It will be nice today and then clouds will increase late in the day tomorrow as the remnants of the hurricane that will be hitting the Florida Panhandle tonight approaches our area.  Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s today and the mid to upper 60’s tomorrow.


Sunday will be rainy and windy, with some flooding likely in parts of Southeastern PA, Southern and Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island, as the remnants of the hurricane pass through our area. There could be up to 3 inches or more of rain in parts of those locations. 


Monday and Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower Tuesday night as a weak cold front approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s Monday and the low to mid 70’s Tuesday.


Wednesday there will be a chance of a shower in the morning as the cold front passes through our area.  Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s,


Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.


Next Friday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a an afternoon/evening shower Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.


Next Saturday there will be a chance of a shower at night, continuing through the day Sunday.  Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Saturday and the mid to upper 50’s next Sunday.


Next Monday, October 19th through next Thursday, October 22nd is currently looking nice with highs in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.
