Confidence is Increasing Greatly for Heavy Snow on Friday

The morning American model just came in and is now agreeing with the European model from earlier this morning and is showing exactly, and I mean exactly what I have been thinking for the last week. It is always amazing to me when that happens. Anyway, it is showing a very intense storm with heavy snows and strong winds for Northern New Jersey, and New York City itself. The snow would start around 11pm on Thursday night and end in the afternoon on Friday. An estimate on accumulations at this point would be 6-12 inches throughout northern New Jersey, and very possibly into New York City itself. The winds may also be a factor, gusting over 40mph with the possibility of blizzard conditions in some locations. Stay tuned.
