Good Chance of a Strong Storm on Friday
The models are coming into some consensus now, as to the development of a strong storm on Friday for northern New Jersey. Now, it appears that the storm will be strong enough and close enough to us to bring significant snows to Northern New Jersey. Who gets how much and whether or not it changes over to rain will remain in question for a little more time, but now, there is definitely a decent chance of a significant snow across Northern New Jersey on Friday. It is possible that this storm could be quite intense. The exact track and intensity will make the difference between rain and snow, and who gets how much. Right now though, I am leaning towards an all snow event. The European model brings the heaviest snows to Northeast New Jersey while the American model changes those areas over to rain and puts the heaviest snows back toward Northwest New Jersey. The European model is more likely to be correct. Stay tuned. Have a great day everyone!
