Well, Let Me Try This Again

OK, I have re-grouped after looking at the latest models from the evening runs that just came out. I will adjust my forecast downward accordingly. I feel like I am looking at the models of this storm for the first time, even though I have been following this storm for a week. The changes that the models have made with this storm are amazing. What has happened is that the models are now suggesting that the center of low pressure will not intensify as much as originally projected, until it is further north of us, therefore the precipitation amounts will be much less. Assuming this is correct, which I have to do at this point, general accumulations should be 1-3 inches throughout all of northern New Jersey, with the possibility of some locations getting as much as 4 inches. I will be the first to admit though that this is a very uncertain forecast. I would not be surprised if many people wake up and there is no accumulation at all, or if there is 4 inches of snow on the ground.
