Latest Update on Saturday Storm Possibility
Right now it is a very close call. All of the major models are now very close to hitting us, but they all bring the storm a little too far out to sea, which would mean that we would most likely get a light mixture of rain and snow on Saturday. In order to get the heavy snow and all snow, the storm would need be closer to the coast. The heavier precipitation would also bring with it colder temperatures, hence all snow, but right now it looks like we will most likely be on the fringe of the storm, so the precipitation will be relatively light, therefore a mix of rain and snow throughout the region, with more rain to the southeast and more snow to the north and west. Any accumulations of snow would be very light though the way it looks now. This is a close call though and things could change, so stay tuned.
