Special Weather Statement for Northwest New Jersey

The latest run of the short-range American model that just came out now indicates that up to 1 inch of rain could fall in parts of Northwest New Jersey overnight. While this would not usually cause flooding problems, the ground is so saturated that this might cause some flooding problems in parts of Northwest New Jersey tonight and tomorrow morning. Due to this possibility the National Weather Service has just issued a Special Weather Statement for those areas.
