Thursday Morning's Weather Discussion

Today the rain will end this morning and it will clear out somewhat later today with a high in the lower 60’s. This weekend will be quite nice, but a little cool with the lows mainly in the lower 40’s and the highs mainly in the upper 50’s. The next chance of rain will be on Monday afternoon as a weak storm will form along the coast, but will be strong enough to bring us some rain on Monday afternoon and night. After this storm passes, a cold front will approach our area on Thursday with more rain and much colder air behind it. The European model is the basis for this forecast and the European model moves this front through, cools things down, and dries things out for next weekend. If however, by any chance, the American model is right, it could be quite a bit colder from Thursday through next weekend with the chance of the rain changing to a little snow. I am definitely leaning toward the European model but I will keep a close eye on this possibility.
