I'm not seeing this heat wave you speak of? Don't we need 3 consecutive days of 90 degrees for a heat wave or has my memory failed me?
ReplyDeleteHi Mike. Yes, you are correct, that would be my definition of a heat wave. There is a chance that we might have one, but as the model shows this morning, if we get the showers and thunderstorms that now look likely almost every day, it should keep our temperatures down enough to keep us in the 80's. As I mention in the discussion, if the showers and thunderstorms don't materialize, this would increase the chances of seeing a heat wave by your and my definition. Noting is set in stone just yet.
