Afternoon American Model Update
The afternoon run of the American model just came out and continues getting colder, but does bring the storm much further north than the European model and it shows us getting as much as 6 inches of snow in Northern New Jersey. It is still a bit warm though and indicates that some areas could still mix with rain in the eastern areas of Northern New Jersey, holding accumulations down. Let's wait and see what the other models show as they come out. The American model is the first one to come out. In my mind, this is definitely a possibility, but I still think the model is a bit too warm. I do think we will get all snow with this storm, I just question whether or not it will really come far enough north to reach us with the snow. I think it will, but we need to wait for other model support. Stay tuned.
