Afternoon European Model Update
The European model continues to suggest the storm will take a track to the south and east of us, keeping us on the cold side of the storm and removing any question as to whether this storm would be rain or snow. It still keeps the storm far enough south that the snow would remain south of our area, reaching as close as coastal sections of New Jersey. The American model is just amazing how it continues to take the storm north and west of us, keeping us warm and wet. There is very little chance that the American model is correct. I also suspect that the European model is a little too far south and that the truth lies somewhere in between, which would mean snow for us on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning if I am correct, as the European model is a bit slower bringing the storm into our area.
