Amazing - This Evening's Run of the American Model
It actually amazes me when I make predictions two weeks before a potential storm, before the models really even key in on anything in particular, but I go out on a limb and try to predict what I think will happen based upon what I am seeing. And then the model shows nearly exactly what I am thinking. Honestly, it still amazes me every time it happens like that. Of course none of this means it will actually happen, it could just be my imagination and the computer's imagination keying in on the same thing, but as of this run, the American model literally shows nearly exactly what I have been talking about here on this blog for days now. It shows a Nor'easter forming near Cape Hatteras, North Carolina next Sunday, then deepening as it moves to a position about 150 miles off shore of New Jersey by Tuesday, then stalling out before finally moving away on Wednesday afternoon. It would bring us a rather large snowstorm if it really worked out like I think it will, and the way this model currently shows. The snow would start on Monday morning and end early on Wednesday morning. Yes, it would drop a lot of snow. Of course, this may all be a figment of my imagination and the computer's. I would really be shocked if I pulled off three in a row from two week's out. It is so unlikely that I can pull that off, that I almost think this can't happen, but it is what I think will happen, so we shall see. That would break my own record. Only time will tell. Stay tuned.
