Evening American Model Update

Well, there appears no doubt that we will get a very intense Nor'easter, which in most decades would be the strongest storm you might see for the entire decade.  Now it seems that we see them every month, and in this case every week.  Anyway, it is the American model vs the European model in terms of snow and ice versus rain potential.  The European model is much colder at the upper levels than the American model.  Both models show temperatures in roughly the middle 30's for the storm, but the American model is bringing a massive amount of warm air in at the upper levels of the atmosphere that the European model simply isn't.  90% of the time the European model is right, but we will have to wait till morning to find out if the European model maintains the colder solution.  Either way, the winds will be strong and are sure to cause damage as well as very significant coastal flooding.
