Well, it looks certain that I got the right idea that there
will be a storm, the question is how big it will be, and what the affects will
be in our area. Right now, it looks like
the low-pressure area will form near Cape Hatteras, North Carolina on Sunday and
then slowly move north toward our area.
It does appear as if there will be significant impacts on our area, but
the details are still very much in question.
The storm could start as early as Monday morning, or as late as Tuesday
morning, and it will end either on Wednesday morning or Thursday morning. Then the all-important question of whether
this will be rain or snow. As of right
now, it appears that it is more likely to be rain than snow, but this could go
either way, and it is a VERY difficult forecast. Keep in mind that many meteorologists though
the last storm would be rain until they looked out the window. I am just going to say that this has the
potential to be a big storm that will likely last at least two days and it
could be rain or snow. Stay tuned.
