My Drive Today From Northern New Jersey to Edison

It was like I was watching one of the worst horror movies I have ever seen.  It reminded me of some of the zombie movies I saw years ago.  The gas stations who had power did not have gas, and the few who had power and gas both, had lines a mile long with State Police watching over the gas dispensing.  I did not see a single street light or light of any fashion in houses or buildings the entire way to Edison.  I saw cars who ran out of gas all along the highways and even an 18-wheel food truck on the side of the road who ran out of gas.  Most food stores were closed.  Traffic was crazy everywhere because street lights were not working.  They had make shift stop signs up in the roads instead of traffic lights.  Trees were hanging on power lines everywhere that had not even been attended to yet.  Now I am very concerned that they take care of these trees before the next Nor'easter hits on Wednesday.  Above are pictures of a tree that fell on a new Lexus at the home next to my mother and the empty food shelves at a Target store near my mother's home near Asbury Park.
