A vigorous storm will be affecting our area tonight with
heavy rain and strong winds. The storm will end tomorrow morning, and could mix
with or change to snow before ending in the late morning, although no
accumulation is expected. Then on Friday
night and Saturday, we will have a chance of snow showers that could bring a dusting
to an inch of accumulation in some locations.
It will then be cold until Christmas Day. On Christmas morning, there
will be a chance of some light snow as a weak storm system may approach our
area. This storm will have the potential to bring a dusting to an inch or two
of accumulation to some locations. Then
on Thursday, a strong storm may approach our area with rain or snow, depending
on the track that the storm takes.
Looking into the distant future, there is also the potential of a strong
storm affecting our area on New Year’s Day, or the day after the New Year. Again, the track that the storm takes will
determine whether this storm is rain or snow.
Check back for updates.
