Snow Possibilities and Keeping Hope Alive for a White Christmas

Tomorrow night when the precipitation starts around 9 or 10pm, it could start as snow or sleet, and it could accumulate a bit in some locations, prior to turning to HEAVY rain that will last until around 10-11am on Friday morning. It is also possible that the precipitation could end briefly as snow, with a dusting possible in some locations. Then on Friday night snow showers will be likely and the snow could accumulate to a dusting to an inch in some locations on Friday night. We could see scattered snow showers throughout the day on Saturday as well, with light accumulations again possible during the day on Saturday.  Then we could again get a dusting to an inch or two of snow on Christmas Eve, starting around 9 or 10pm on Christmas Eve, and ending by around 1-2am on Christmas morning. Then we have to watch a MUCH stronger storm that will affect our area on Wednesday or Thursday of next week.  This storm will be either rain or snow, depending upon the track that the storm takes.  And yes, I am still watching for a possible storm for New Years Day, or the day after New Years.  This storm could again be quite significant and will be either rain or snow, depending upon the track that the storm decides to take.  It will also be quite cold starting on Friday afternoon, with morning lows dropping into the teens next week.
