Well, it is much colder today, and a weak storm system is
approaching our area and it will bring light snow or flurries to our area late
this afternoon and tonight, with a dusting to an inch or two of snow possible
in some locations. Tomorrow will then be
mostly sunny, but very cold with highs only in the low 20’s and lows getting
down into the mid to upper single digits on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday, another weak storm system will
approach our area, bringing another chance of some light snow or flurries on
Wednesday night with a dusting to an inch or two of snow possible in some
locations again. Then Thursday and
Friday will be extremely cold with highs only around 20 on Thursday and in the
mid to upper teens on Friday. The lows
on Thursday will drop to the low to mid single digits. Then Friday we will likely get a snowstorm,
with snow developing around 7am and ending around 7pm. Snow will likely accumulate to 4-8 inches
throughout the area and may blow and drift, as it will be a very dry snow with
the extremely cold temperatures. Then on
Saturday, we may have the coldest day in a couple of years as temperatures drop
to around zero and highs only get into the mid to upper teens. Sunday we will then get increasing cloudiness,
as another weak storm may approach our area, bringing a chance of some light
snow or flurries on Sunday night. Monday
and Tuesday should then be nice days and temperatures should warm to seasonal
levels, prior to the next storm moving in for next Wednesday, although this
time there is a chance of rain or snow with the warmer temperatures that may be
in place by that time.
