Well, the cold air has moved in, now it will be quite cold
through Monday with lows dropping into the single digits every morning except
Saturday morning because it will be snowing. The highs will also only rise into
upper teens to low to mid 20’s. We will
see some scattered Lake Effect snow showers over the next few days as well, as
the very cold air blows across the relatively warm Great Lakes. Some of these snow showers are occurring in
Northern New Jersey this morning and could leave a dusting to an inch of snow
in some locations. Then on Friday, a
storm system will head our way from the west and develop rapidly into a Nor’easter
as it hits the coast. The snow with this
storm should develop around 1pm on Friday afternoon and end around 4am on
Saturday morning with 6-12 inches of accumulation. Looking into the middle of next week, another
storm system will approach our area but it is too early to tell whether this
storm will be rain or snow. Check back
for updates.
