European Model Ensemble Mean

The European model ensemble mean just came out and it completely disagrees with the operational run.  You know, the European model did great with the last storm but this storm and the one next weekend will be dominated by the northern jet stream.  They will have both jet streams involved, but they will be largely dominated by the northern jet stream and the American model typically does better with northern stream dominated storms.  I am thinking the American model has a better handle on this situation, although apparently the ensemble members of the European model are also picking up on this situation with the Wednesday night storm and the weekend storm.  The European model ensemble mean has both the Wednesday night storm affecting our area and the weekend storm for next Saturday night into Sunday morning.
