European Model Update

The European model keeps the heaviest precipitation just to our east over Long Island and does not do as the short-range American model.  It is depressing when our models perform so poorly.  Anyway, the European model still shows Northern New Jersey getting 10-18 inches from west to east across Northern New Jersey with the lightest amounts in western sections and the heaviest amounts in eastern sections.  It has the truly ridiculous amounts that the short-range American model was showing just offshore of NJ and going through most of Long Island, Connecticut and eastern Massachusetts.  It just misses us by less than 50 miles, so the crazy amounts are definitely there with this storm, but it looks as if they will just miss us slightly to the east.
