Well, I know, we are not even through with this major storm,
and I am going to start talking about the next possibilities. Here we go
again. I have been watching for a potential Nor'easter for around Valentine’s
Day now for about a week. I have been hedging the last couple of days
because the European model and the British model had backed off on the storm
and everyone knows how much I love the European model. It is not that the
European model does not have the storm, it does, but it had actually lost it
yesterday completely. Well this afternoon it brought it back somewhat,
not enough to affect our area, but it at least had a storm again. The
interesting thing though is that the American model, and you all know how I
feel about this model, actually has not lost the storm at all this entire
time. I kept thinking it would lose the storm, but no, if anything on the
last run that just came out it has developed an even more impressive storm,
which would have the potential to affect our area with a very significant
Nor'easter next Wednesday afternoon and night. In addition, even more
important than that, because I do not ever feel comfortable trusting the
American model when it is on its own is that the British model just noticed
this storm again this afternoon. This is sounding some alarms in my
mind. Until however the European model picks the storm back up for our
area, I will continue to be very suspicious. Right now I would say that there
is definitely a chance of a significant Nor'easter affecting our area next Wednesday
afternoon and night, and possibly with significant snowfall depending upon how
it all develops and tracks. Then, there is a potentially even more
impressive storm aimed at us for next weekend. Every possible sign is
there right now on both the American and European models that a very significant
and rather large East Coast storm will form and affect our area. Of course,
that storm is a long way out, so details are very much in question, but that
storm would be one to definitely be concerned about for the potential for very
heavy snows, or heavy rains, and strong winds. Honestly, the storm next
weekend could be quite substantial, but I do not want to downplay the possible
storm for next Wednesday afternoon and night either. Wow, lots to talk
about ahead and we have not even finished with this one yet. Thanks for
reading my blog everyone. I really appreciate it. Stay safe, check
back for updates and tell all your friends and relatives about my blog.
Thanks. CNBC really flattered me today when they called and I hope to get
on there with them soon. Have a nice evening. I might post again later too though.
