The rain will end this morning, but the storm will be slow
to move away, leaving us with scattered rain and snow showers through
Friday. The next storm to be concerned
about will approach our area on Wednesday, and it will be quite cold next
week. With the storm tracking to our south,
any precipitation would be snow with the storm.
The track that the storm takes will once again determine whether we get
snow and how much. It is still a long
way out and anything is possible, but right now the European model is actually
turning this storm into a very significant Nor’easter for Northern New Jersey
and New York City for next Wednesday night and Thursday morning. It looks as if the unseasonably cold
temperatures will continue through at the least the next 2 weeks, with more
chances of snow toward the end of the 2 week period.
