Saturday, September 28th, 2013 - Evening Weather Discussion
The Saturday afternoon run of the European model is now making a non-issue out of the tropical system that will develop well off the southeast coast and head north toward Cape Cod, prior to turning back out to sea and now not even making landfall on Nova Scotia. So, the event that we watched for 10 days will apparently have no effect on our weather at all. After this, we should see nice weather through the work week with high temperatures approaching 80 degrees on Tuesday and reaching the low 80's on Wednesday and Thursday, and possibly the mid 80's on Friday. Then it looks as if the rain will hold off until Saturday, with heavy rain likely during the day on Saturday. We should then have variably cloudy skies on Sunday and Monday with just a slight chance of a shower or thundershower. It will also likely be quite a bit cooler next Sunday and especially Monday.
