Friday, October 11th, 2013 - Evening Weather Discussion

Nothing very new with the forecast this evening.  This storm turned out to be a dud for us here.  The next chance of rain other than a slight chance of a shower over the next few days will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday and Thursday night with the passage of a cold front.  Then a chance of a shower next Sunday, followed by a chance of a vegetation killing frost or freeze the following Monday morning.  Then we will have a chance of rain for the middle of that week.  Then we will just have to wait and see what happens as we head toward the all important October 27th.  It is just too early to tell what that date will bring us, but there still seems to be the potential for significant cold air to be in place or available for any storms that might develop to bring someone in the Northeast a chance at some snow.  We shall see.
