Saturday, October 5th, 2013 - Afternoon Weather Discussion

The afternoon run of the European model continues to bring rain into our area for Monday, heavy at times in the afternoon, but it keeps the mid week storm to our south and east and keeps us dry.  It finally starts bringing that storm off the East Coast inland into the Carolinas on Sunday, and moves it north bringing the rain to our area on Monday of the following week.  So, it now looks as if the only rainy day next week will be Monday.  Let's see what the next model run brings tomorrow morning.  The model has been all over the place with this impending storm for the middle to end of next week.  The only thing we can say for sure is that it will rain on Monday and then another storm will develop off the East during the middle of next week and may eventually make it's way into our area, but it is hard to say exactly when that will occur.
