Sunday, October 6th, 2013 - Morning Weather Discussion

A cold front is approaching our area today as the remnants of Tropical Storm Karen will get sucked up ahead of the front and into our area, brining heavy rain to our area tomorrow afternoon with some flash flooding of small streams likely.  Things will then clear out and cool down for Tuesday through Thursday but at the same time a storm will be developing off the East Coast and will slowly make its way toward our area, reaching here just in time for the weekend, brining a chance of a shower on Friday, and rain, possibly heavy at times for Saturday and Sunday.  The showers may linger into Monday and Tuesday of the following week and then another front is likely approach, continuing the chances for a shower into Wednesday and Thursday and it will be quite a bit cooler next week with highs in the 50’s.
