We will have one last warm day followed by a chance of
shower tomorrow as a Nor'easter starts to develop well offshore. This storm will pull much colder air down
into our area from Canada for the rest of the week, with highs only around 50
each day and lows in the low to mid 30’s, for Thursday and Friday morning and
the upper 20’s to low 30’s on Saturday morning.
There will also be a chance of a rain or snow shower from Wednesday
night through Saturday as the cold air blows across the much warmer Great
Lakes, causing Lake Effect snow showers to develop, some of which might make it
into our area. On Sunday some warmer air
will move into our area ahead of the next storm system causing temperatures to
warm to the mid 50’s for Sunday and Monday.
Then next Tuesday there will be increasing cloudiness with showers
developing at night as the next storm system approaches. These showers are likely to continue through
the day on Wednesday, possibly becoming steady rain for Halloween day, but that
is a long way out and anything can change, so check back for updates. After this storm passes temperatures should
once again drop as we head into the following weekend with a chance of
scattered rain or snow showers.
