European Model Update

The European model continues to suggest that we will get a bit of light snow late on Saturday night and into Sunday morning with a dusting possible throughout Northern New Jersey and Southeast New York State.  The model also continues to see the potential Nor'easter for Monday night and Tuesday and it is actually quite a bit colder this time, bringing our area some light snow on Tuesday even though it remained rather weak with the storm.  We need to keep a close eye on this in case it decides strengthen a bit more.  It is interesting however how much colder the look of the model was with this storm on this run.  There will then be a chance of some rain next Thursday night and Friday with another storm system that will be approaching from the west.  This storm could start as a bit of freezing rain next Thursday night.  But all eyes will be focused on the potential Nor'easter on Tuesday.  Check back for my full update this evening.
