The mid-day run of the American model remains very
consistent with its prior run from earlier today, just moving up in time the
rain to Friday night into Saturday morning, then clearing things out. It then shows a cold Sunday and Monday with a
chance for scattered snow showers. It
then shows a chance of light snow on Tuesday as a weak storm system approaches. Then it still forms a strong storm over the
Southeastern United States and carries the storm northeast along the Eastern
Seaboard, forming a significant Nor'easter with rain or snow commencing in our
area on Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving, and continuing into
Thanksgiving morning. We will just have
to wait and see how all this works out as the day before Thanksgiving is the
busiest travel day of the year. Now we
wait to see what the European model has to say.
My next update on the European model will be before 2 pm.
