Mid-Day American Model Update
The mid-day run of the American model misses us completely with the Monday night and Tuesday Nor'easter and it hits Eastern New England with it hard, but it is even rain there. Then it brings us some showers for Thursday night and Friday ahead of the next cold front. Then it moves everything up a day from there, moving the Monday storm from this morning's weather discussion up to Sunday, but it just misses us to the south and it has it much colder, so it would actually be snow if it made it any further north on Sunday. Then it moves the Thursday, December 12th storm up to Wednesday, December 11th. This storm is the one that I have been talking about for some time already. I definitely see this one as being one to watch. I strongly feel that it has the possibility to become a significant Nor'easter much as the one from a few days ago. The typical questions will most likely come into play however as to whether we get rain, snow, or a mix. Of course, as we get into the middle of December more cold air will be available though. I definitely think we need to keep a close eye on the time period around Wednesday, December 11th, although I have already been saying this for many days.
