Saturday, November 16th, 2013 - Evening Weather Discussion

The forecast remains the same until next Thursday night when a cold front may bring us some showers, followed by a stronger storm for next Saturday that could bring us some snow in the morning, changing to rain by late morning and continuing through Saturday night.  It will then get MUCH colder and winter may very well begin next Sunday as highs will struggle to reach freezing from next Sunday through Thanksgiving Day and likely longer than that.  At the same time a storm may form over the Southeastern United States and head in our direction.  If it does come far enough up the coast it could very well mean a snowy day before Thanksgiving for us, and another storm is possible for the day after Thanksgiving that could bring us more snow.  Of course, at this range, this is truly just an educated guess, but I have honestly been specifically eyeing this coming weekend as slightly interesting and I have had a tremendous amount of interest in the day before Thanksgiving for several days already, so we will just have to wait and see how it goes. Check back for updates as the day before Thanksgiving is the busiest travel day of the season and the snow actually has the potential to make it deep into the south starting the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
