American Model for Next Weekend

The American model is starting to come in line with the European model to some degree with the general idea of a cold frontal passage on Saturday morning, bringing some showers on Friday night into Saturday morning, with colder air behind it and temperatures dropping during the day on Saturday.  Then another storm will ride along the front bringing a chance of rain, snow, or ice from Sunday afternoon into Monday morning, with the possibility of yet another even stronger storm developing along the front after that for Monday afternoon into early Christmas Eve morning bringing us a chance of a guaranteed White Christmas. Then after Christmas it has two chances for more snow, all around the date that I have been focusing on of Friday, December 27th.  It has one for Christmas night into Thursday the 26th with some light snow and another for the afternoon and evening of Friday the 27th with light snow developing in the afternoon and continuing through the night and into Saturday the 28th.  I do like two specific time periods here, one is centered around next Sunday night to Monday night, and the next will be centered around my Friday the 27th, but this could be as early as the night of the 25th or as late as Saturday the 28th.
