European Model Update

The European model has temperatures dropping to the upper single digits to low teens tomorrow morning, with highs tomorrow in the low 20's, then temperatures drop quickly as the sun sets, reaching the mid to upper single digits tomorrow evening by 7pm!  Temperatures will actually then rise to the mid teens by Friday morning as a bit of warmer air comes north ahead of the next storm.  The next storm will now start on Saturday morning around 8:00 am!  It will snow lightly in the morning, becoming a bit heavier in the afternoon and the high will only be in the upper teens on Saturday.  The snow will become a bit heavier still on Saturday night before possibly changing to a bit of sleet or freezing rain before the main precipitation ends early on Sunday morning.  The precipitation will then linger lightly until Sunday evening around 7 pm.  The model shows total snowfall accumulations between 4 and 5 inches with the possibility of a touch of ice at the end.  We will then have a chance of a bit of snow during the day on Tuesday with an inch of accumulation possible as a storm approaches us from the west.  The European model then projects a warmup toward the end of next week with the high possibly reaching the low 40's by next Thursday, the upper 40's by next Friday, and possibly near 60 next Saturday with a chance of showers each day.  Unfortunately, this is probably just a re-load of the pattern though and it is likely to get very cold again next Sunday.
