Things remain on track from my forecast this morning with a
chance of showers on Thursday and Friday with rain developing on Friday night and
the possibility of the rain changing to snow before ending early on Saturday
morning. Some light accumulations are
possible early on Saturday morning. Then
another storm will approach with light snow starting on Sunday night, then
changing to sleet and freezing rain then to rain early on Monday morning. A significant accumulation of snow and ice is
possible on Sunday night into early Monday morning prior to the changeover to
rain. Then we will have to watch as another
storm approaches for the middle of next week, possibly as early as Tuesday
evening with more light snow that may again mix with or change to sleet and
freezing rain and then change to rain.
This storm has the possibility of becoming a major weather producer and
sticking around for a few days, but we will have to wait and see what happens. Then yet another storm will approach toward
the end of next weekend. We will
apparently be entering a very active weather pattern with storms every three
days or so. This pattern is one in which
we would likely see a mixture of precipitation types, with the storms starting as
snow, then changing over to ice, then rain.
That is way all of these storms look right now, but let’s see if it
still looks that way in the morning.
Have a nice evening and keep checking back as things are likely to get
quite active starting on Friday night.
