Saturday, December 14th, 2013 - Look at the Next 2 Weeks

TODAY – light snow or flurries starting between 5-7 am, a half inch to one inch of accumulation by noon, snow becoming moderate around 3 pm with around 3-4 inches of accumulation by 7 pm, then snow becoming heavy around 7 pm with another 1-4 inches of accumulation prior to a mix and then change to sleet and freezing rain by 11 pm in all locations, and then possibly to rain in Northeastern New Jersey, temperatures rising through the day and into the night to the upper 20’s to low 30’s by late night

TOMORROW – freezing rain in Northwestern New Jersey and freezing rain or rain in Northeastern New Jersey will end by sunrise with total snow accumulations of 6-8 inches in Northwestern New Jersey with a chance of a third of an inch of ice and 4-6 inches in Northeastern New Jersey with a chance of a half of an inch of ice in areas where it does not get above freezing, low from the upper 20’s in far Northwest New Jersey to the mid to upper 30’s in near the Hudson River, high in the mid to upper 30’s

MONDAY – mostly sunny, low in the low to mid teens, high in the mid 20’s

TUESDAY – light snow in the morning with a dusting to an inch of accumulation likely, variably cloudy in the afternoon, a chance of light snow or flurries at night with a dusting of accumulation possible, low in the upper single digits to low teens, high in the low 30’s

WEDNESDAY – variably cloudy, low in the upper teens to low 20’s, high in the mid 30’s

THURSDAY – mostly sunny, low in the upper teens to low 20’s, high in the upper 30’s

FRIDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a shower, low in the mid to upper 20’s, high in the mid 40’s

NEXT SATURDAY – chance of rain in the morning, chance of rain, freezing rain, sleet or snow in the afternoon and continuing through the night, early morning highs in the mid to upper 40’s, dropping to the upper 30’s to low 40’s by sunrise, then the mid to upper 30’s by afternoon, and the upper 20’s to low 30’s by evening

NEXT SUNDAY – chance of freezing rain, sleet, or snow in the morning, chance of rain or snow in the afternoon, high in the mid to upper 30’s

NEXT MONDAY – chance of rain or snow ending early in the morning, then mostly sunny, temperatures remaining in the low to mid 30’s all day

CHRISTMAS EVE – mostly sunny, low in the mid to upper teens, high in the mid to upper 20’s

CHRISTMAS DAY – mostly sunny in the morning, increasing cloudiness in the afternoon, chance of light snow at night, low in the upper teens to low 20’s, high in the mid to upper 30’s

NEXT THURSDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a snow shower, morning highs in the mid to upper 20’s, dropping to the low to mid 20’s by afternoon

NEXT FRIDAY – chance of snow, low in the low to mid teens, high in the mid to upper teens
